Cory Barker

Cory grew up in Ontario and joined the Board in November 2018 as a Technical Advisor and has worked his way up through various roles in the organization. He holds a Master’s and Undergraduate Degree in Biology along with broad research experience ranging from ungulate population dynamics in Newfoundland to pollination ecology of orchids in Northern Ontario and examining how urbanization is affecting plant-pollinator relationships. He speaks English, French and is working on his limited Spanish while travelling overseas with his Wife as often as possible. Outside of work, he enjoys spending lots of time at his cabin with his wife and exploring the land, hunting and fishing and learning local skills here in Cambridge Bay
