Leah Klaassen

Leah is from Toronto, Ontario and started as a Technical Advisor II in January 2023. She has a B.Sc. in Forestry and a graduate diploma in Environmental Management, both from the University of Toronto. She also completed a certificate in Natural Resource Science from UBC while living in Haida Gwaii. Leah spent the past four years working in the solar energy industry doing surveying/monitoring work in the southwestern United States and internationally. She speaks English and a bit of French and is excited to begin learning some Inuktitut. Her hobbies include knitting/crochet, reading, yoga, exploring the outdoors, and seeing live music back in Toronto.
