Hello,

NRCan has received an application for an explosives magazine licence from Kudlik Construction. The
magazine would be located in Repulse Bay.

The NPC has determined the activity is in the municipal boundary and that a conformity determination
is not required (see below).

It is NRCan's understanding that NIRB can now initiate the Part 4 screening of the activity. M. Poulin
submitted the necessary documentation to NIRB last week (indicating the Inuktitut version of the
summary would be submitted shortly).

NRCan requests that NIRB initiate the screening of the activity.

Please let me know if you have questions.

Thanks,
Kate

Good afternoon;

The Nunavut Planning Commission (NPC) has reviewed the attached land use application and has
confirmed the location of the proposed project falls inside the municipal boundary of Repulse Bay.
Therefore a conformity determination is not required by the NPC.

Any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via email.

Mutna,

Brian Aglukark
