Project Summary
Thick-billed Murres
The purpose of our work with thick-billed murres is to estimate the distribution and abundance of marine birds in the Pond Inlet-Baffin Bay region throughout the year, and to assess the interactions of bird populations with proposed development activities; particularly year-round shipping. Our research goals are broad and require work in both Nunavut and the Nunavik Marine Region.
