Project Summary
The goal of this project is to run a pilot study to conduct baseline documentation of cultural sites in Ninginganiq NWA and explore what kinds of monitoring may be suitable to be conducted on a semi-regular basis by Inuit researchers and hunters from Clyde River, NU. Objectives include:1) Collect baseline data about key environmental attributes and cultural sites in Ninginganiq NWA2) Provide training and experience for Ittaq staff and community participants on how to collect high-quality environmental/cultural monitoring data.3) Collect data for use in the development of a Ninginganiq NWA page in the Clyde River Atlas.
