Upgrading to current aviation standards allows modern aircraft, supports community transport, cargo delivery, and medevac services, and improves the reliability of essential air services for Whale Cove.- Where will the project take place?The work will occur at Whale Cove Airport, approximately 5 km north of the Hamlet of Whale Cove (population ~470), situated on Hudson Bay’s western shore.
