Blue Star Gold Corp. (Blue Star) is requesting to amend the Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA) Class III Licence KTL311C013 and Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) Land Use Permit (LUP) N2022C0006. The purpose of these amendments is to allow the same exploration activities currently authorized on the existing mineral claims at the Roma Property to be carried out on three newly acquired mineral claims: 103030 (BAM01), 103529 (HIGH01) and 105216 (CYGNET_EXT). No amendment is required to Nunavut Water Board (NWB) water licence 2BE-HRP1932, as the new claims fall within the existing authorized Project Extents.The activities proposed to be extended to the new claims include general exploration (geological mapping, prospecting, geochemical sampling, and airborne and ground geophysical surveys), diamond drilling, and the establishment of temporary remote exploration camps.The requested amendment to KIA Licence KTL311C013 is to include Inuit Owned Land (IOL) surface parcel CO-26, enabling Blue Star to conduct general exploration activities, drilling and temporary remote exploration camp establishment on mineral claim 103030 (BAM01).The requested amendment to CIRNAC LUP N2022C0006 is to add mineral claims 103529 (HIGH01) and 105216 (CYGNET_EXT), located on Crown land, to the permit. This addition would authorize the same exploration activities (general exploration activities, drilling and temporary remote exploration camp establishment.
