I am originally from Cambridge Bay. I joined the Nunavut Impact Review Board as a Screening Officer on August 25th, 2025. I can read basic Inuinnaqtun and understand simple words, and I speak English fluently. As a Screening Officer, I look at proposed projects to assess potential risks to wildlife, the land and surrounding communities. Ensuring development is carried out with care, balance and respect for the environment and Nunavut communities. I bring experience in handling sensitive information, strong organizational skill, attention to detail, and knowledge of Government of Nunavut policies. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for drives and playing video games. I also like working on vehicles – from repairing snowmobiles to maintaining my truck.
