- CAMBRIDGE BAY, NU – May 14, 2025: On May 13, 2025 Marjorie, Kaviq Kaluraq, the Chairperson of the Nunavut Impact Review Board (NIRB or Board) since 2019 advised the Minister of Northern and Arctic Affairs and Minister responsible for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, the Honourable Rebecca Chartrand (Minister), that she was resigning from the NIRB effective immediately in order to assume a new position as the Vice President of Nunavut Arctic College.
