Manager, Impact Assessment
Keith was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, and began with the board in April 2017 as a Technical Advisor II, then becoming Manager, Impact Assessment in September 2020. Prior to arriving in Nunavut, he worked with the NB Department of Lands and Resources as a field geology assistant and following graduation from the University of New Brunswick, as a mine geologist. In 1998, he came to Cambridge Bay and joined Nunavut Tunngavik’s Department of Lands and Resources, where he worked from 1998 to 2015, initially as Administrative Geologist and finally as Senior Advisor – Minerals, Oil and Gas. Following his time at NTI, he worked as a consultant for TMAC Resources before joining the NIRB. Keith resides in Cambridge Bay with his wife, a small herd of cats, and has been for several years the chief of the Cambridge Bay Fire Department.
