Francis Emingak

Francis Emingak was born and raised in Cambridge Bay, he lived in Kugaaruk for several years. Francis joined the NIRB team August 2019 as a Junior Technical Advisor. He graduated in 2017 from Nunavut Arctic College with a diploma in the Environmental Technology Program. Francis previously worked in the mining industry at Hope Bay and most recently worked as a research assistant in the Department of Geography with the University of Calgary, He believes the experience will help him in his new role as a JTA. In his own time Francis likes to hunt fish and camp throughout the year with his family.
